Ted and Antigone were introduced to each other in the spring of 2010. They are both born and raised in NYC and although quintessential New Yorkers, they grew up heavily influenced by the customs and traditions of their Greek heritage. When Ted proposed in the summer of 2012, they both knew they wanted to have a destination wedding and the obvious choice would be Greece where they both spent many of their summers. The island of Santorini was their choice, not only because they believe it to be one of the most beautiful islands in the world, but as also they felt it embodies all of the elements of their rich culture and wanted to share a unique experience with family and friends. When Antigone first approached us she had clear vision from the start about the style of her wedding. It had to be chic, contemporary and with references to local customs. Antigone & Ted were married on a beautiful summer day on the volcanic island of Santorini. Their day started with a a romantic photo shoot at Aenaon Villas. Antigone wanted the evening to reflect the Greek island laid-back style yet mix in some chic elements. Custom made lace numbers, hand made wedding favors and tailor made large white pebbles as centerpieces were designed to decorate the beautiful long dinner tables. Another favorite for the bride: hanging bottles from the vine leaf pergola, refreshing cocktails and black & white cake pops!
