Assyrtico

The restaurant is located in the “heart” of Fira, in a renovated mansion of the 60’s. The caldera view from the restaurant’s front balcony is spectacular, but the real surprise is the beautiful veranda on the back that is overlooking the garden of the old mansion.   Don’t leave your table if you haven’t tried their version of the traditional Greek Saganaki (Gruyere cheese wrapped in pastry crust served with fig marmalade marinated in Vinsanto wine), the Assyrtico Salad (green salad, grapes, cherry tomatoes, goat cheese), the “Santorini Risotto” with local ingredients or the Greek Version of Cheesecake (made with Greek soft cheese – Katiki - on rusk bread)

Ginger Sushi Lounge

'Selene' restaurant was established in 1986 aiming to show and promote the local products along with the local cuisine and introduce travelers to the island's culture. Santorini owes a lot to Selene’s owners as they were the first ones to so passionately promote local products and helped in the preservation of recipes almost threatened to be lost in time.  Selene is divided in two restaurants: Selene Restaurantcontinues its modernist approach on Greek cuisine and Selene Meze & Winewhich operates as a taverna, a simpler all-day approach with mostly traditional dishes and exclusively Santorini wines from all the island's producers.  Journalists from New York Times, Daily Mail, Conde Nast, Financial Times and so much more swear by it’s excuisite cuisine and this is a restaurant that one should certainly visit whilst in Santorini.
